SOURCE PROFILE / Research
Internet Archive
Search digitized books, audio, video, software, images, and historical web collections.
Best used for
Finding historical materials, comparing editions, and locating archived versions of public sources.
What to know before using it
Collections include material from many contributors, so verify provenance, completeness, and rights on each item. Reading, borrowing, and downloads can have account or access restrictions. An archived page is evidence of a capture, not proof that its claims were accurate; avoid submitting private URLs or copyrighted uploads without authorization.
Our review covers the source as checked on the stated date. Availability, pricing, and third-party policies may change. Verify important claims with original evidence.
