The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, commonly called OHCHR or UN Human Rights, is part of the United Nations Secretariat. Its worldwide mandate combines promotion and protection of human rights, field monitoring, technical assistance and support for UN human rights mechanisms.

Evidence and transparency: The site includes material from the Office, independent experts, treaty committees and the Human Rights Council, which have different mandates. OHCHR publishes monitoring guidance and report-specific methods, plus budget and donor information. Funding combines the UN regular budget with voluntary contributions, principally from states.
